How to make a submission:
- Please make your submission in writing and deliver it by email, post or in person by the close date.
- The submission must quote the DA number and include your name, phone number and email address.
When making a submission please be aware of the following:
- Your contact details will be used to send you notifications. For example, when the application has been determined.
- Your submission may be published in reports, or other documents that are produced following the exhibition period so decision makers are aware of your concerns.
- Your submission may be forwarded to third parties including other public authorities, government agencies or the applicant to assist in addressing any concerns raised.
- If you choose to remain anonymous and/or do not substantiate your concerns staff may not be able to fully assess or respond to your issues.
- Council is subject to the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA). If an application is lodged under GIPA to view information relating to the application copies of any submission and written comments are required to be provided to that person.
- An application to suppress certain material can be made if personal safety is at risk - further details in this regard can be obtained from the Model Privacy Management Plan for Local Government available on the Office of Local Government's website.
