A staff report was tabled at the April 2024 Murrumbateman Playground Committee meeting presenting the Murrumbateman Playground – Community Consultation Report (Complete Urban) which provided a brief overview of the report noting six observations about the report. The minutes detail the recommendation of this committee to Council.

A Council report and the committee minutes were presented to Council on 23 May 2024.  The report (Item 6.1) asked Council to note the Murrumbateman Playground – Community Consultation Report, select the playground site being the Murrumbateman Old School Site, and if not possible to deliver it at this site, the playground be construction at the Murrumbateman Recreation Ground.  The reason that this report recommended the school site is that was the outcome from the playground committee consideration of the report.  To further understand the deliberation of the Council and the reason for their decision, a recording from the Council meeting can be found here.
