EOI - Yass Heated Pool Committee

Yass Valley Council is seeking enthusiastic community members to join the newly formed Yass Pool Redevelopment Project Committee.

This committee will play a crucial role in providing input and recommendations on the redevelopment of the 50m Olympic Yass pool and its supporting infrastructure and the redevelopment for a future heated pool. 

Committee members will include:
  • 3x Councillors
  • 5x Community members (two swim-club members, three non-members)
As a committee member, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Collaborate with council representatives and other community members.
  • Provide valuable insights into the needs and preferences of pool users.
  • Contribute to the planning and enhancement of the pool’s facilities.
  • Help ensure the Yass Heated Pool continues to service the community effectively.

We invite residents who are passionate about our local amenities, have experience or interest in aquatic facilities, and are committed to the wellbeing of our community to submit and expression on interest.
