This draft Model Social Media Policy has been based on the Office of Local Government (OLG) Social Media Policy 2022. 

Social media has become central to modern communication. Since its creation, it has rapidly gained popularity and influence, evolving into a key part of how we connect with others, work, entertain ourselves, and engage with information and ideas. 

It is now available for public comment until 4 April 2025 and can be viewed online. We invite you to have a look through the document and have your say.
