This project will provide the Murrumbateman community with an inclusive all ages, all-abilities playground at the Murrumbateman Old Schoolhouse site. This project is necessary as the community is rapidly expanding and does not currently have a functionable large community playground.

The all-ability playground will have facilities to support active and passive recreation in an aesthetically beautiful built and natural environment. The facility will include landscaping, amenities, textile surfaces, sensory elements, seating, a modular playground unit and flying fox.

Council will be consulting with users of the Murrumbateman Recreation Ground in early 2025 to determine a suitable location for the playground.
