The MLAK (Master Locksmiths Access Key) system is a unique and innovative system that uses a universal lock and key to allow people with special needs to access dedicated public facilities. The MLAK system will allow 24/7 access to these facilities for members of the public that hold a MLAK key.
To ensure Council facilities are user-friendly and easy to access, Yass Valley Council will be installing the MLAK system to the following amenities:
- Walker Park – level one only
- Coronation Park
- Victoria Park
Installation of these locks is scheduled for 1st December 2025.
Further information for the upgrade of other Council facilities within the Yass Valley will be provided when available.
